Board Of Commissioners Of Currency Malaya And British Borneo One Dollar Note

Board Of Commissioners Of Currency Malaya And British Borneo One Dollar Note was printed on 21st.March,1953. On the front of the note was printed a picture of the High Majesty The Queen Elizabeth on the right hand side. On the centre of the top side of the note was written the word Board Of Commissioners Of Currency Malaya And British Borneo. On both right and left top corners was printed a figure number one together with the dollar symbols. On the left hand side was printed in big size the figure number one. On the top left hand and the below right hand corner was printed the serial number of the said note. On the centre below was written in an alphabetical word and also in arabic which meant one dollar. On the left hand side was printed the date of the note was being printed and also a signature of the queen.

On the back side of the note, printed on the left hand side was the five Malaysian State Crest, in the middle there a blank round space and around it was printed six other Malaysian State Crest, and in the right hand side was printed the other five Malaysian State Crest which meant by that time there was sixteen states to formed Malaya and the British Borneo under the government of the British colony. Below both on left and right hand side was written in arabic about the currency. On the top left and right hand corner was printed a number one digit which meant the value of dollar note stated.


Bank Negara Malaysia Ten Ringgit Note

Bank Negara Malaysia Ten Ringgit Note was reddish in colour with the word Bank Negara Malaysia was being print on the lefthand side of the front note. On the righthand side was print the picture of the highest royal majesty of Malaysia Yang Dipertuan Agong. On the centre of the front note was written the word SA-PULOH RINGGIT which was meant Ten Ringgit in the Malaysian Language. The spelling of Sa-puloh ringgit also written in the non recognised spelling as being gazzattee by the Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka, Malaysia and below the centre front note was a signature by the Governor Of Bank Negara Malaysia nama Ismail Mohd Ali by the time this note was print. This note was last being used in the market in the late 1980's.
On the top righthand corner and below lefthand corner was print a figure ten together with a dollar symbol which meant that the note was valued for Ten Ringgit.

On each corner of the back note was print a figure ten and a symbol of a dollar which meant the note value was ten ringgit. In the centre part of the note was print the symbol of The Bank Negara Malaysia.

Board Of Commissioners Of Currency Malaya One Dollar Note

Board Of Commissioners Of Currency Malaya One Dollar Note was print on 1 st. July, 1941 by the Colonial Government in Malaya before the second world war or the Japanese Occupation in Malaya with the valued of One Dollar.
On the front page of the note was clearly seen the picture of the British Rajah by the time on the right hand side of it. Below his picture was written in arabic about this note and a small symbol of one dollar underneath it. On the left hand side was being print with the same size of the British Rajah picture a figure of number one with a beautiful design around the figure. Underneath the figure was the signature of the said Rajah and also underneath the signature was a small symbol of one dollar. In the centre of the upper part of the note was written in arabic about the note that was not known to me as I can't read in the arabic.
On the back page of the note was written in arabic about the currency on both left and right top hand corner. There also a symbol of the eleven Malays States by the time on the whole page of the note, with four of it was print on the left hand side and six on the right hand side and the bigger symbol was placed on the centre top. There also a small figure of number one on both left and right hand below of the note which meant stating the valued of the note.


The Government Of Sarawak Five Dollars Notes 1938

The Government Of Sarawak Five Dollars Notes was print on 1 st January,1938 and being used during the reign of the Second English Rajah named Sir Charles Brooke who governed Sarawak after he replaced the First English Rajah named Sir James Brooke. On The front side of the note was a small picture of cats which meant Kuching in the Malay language, and Kuching also the name of the capitol of Sarawak until now a days. There also the symbol of the colonial crest on the left handside below the cat picture. On the right hand side of the front note was the picture of the said rajah and his signature. On the top right hand corner was written in chinese stating the value of the note and also the same to the top left hand corner which was written in arabic with the same meaning.

On the back page of the note was a picture of the Dayaks Shield as the crown was placed on the centre top page and also its clearly written The Government Of Sarawak. So as the note was too old and I found it in and old wooden box at our longhouse when I played in the storeroom. I liked its design and I keep it as the world heritage to shared with everyone until today.

My Profile

Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is John Adam Ak Gilbert Anyai. I'm an Iban, working as a civil servant in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. I'm a married man with two childrens, a daughter and a son. I was born in Sri Aman in 1964, and growing up at Saratok in 1968 until 1982. I came from Serudit, Paku, Spaoh, Betong and married to my wife from Brayang, Roban. My longhouse now is at Room 7, Rumah Undi, Brayang, Roban and my next house is Lot. 522, Taman Susur Jambu, Sarikei.
I have been working at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 1983 until 1991 and then transfered to Sarikei until 2004. My hobbies is listening to sentimental songs, reading, meeting many friends, touring, visiting adventures places and also keeping some sourviners that I got from my friends and some are being bought at the local market.
So with this blog that I named "MY MONEY LINK" I'm going to shared with everybody who come to view or follow my blog to know and see by themselves what types of money from many countries in the world that was not available in the market by now that I have in my possession.

This was my first blog being written in English as many of my friends who are not Iban are interested to read and see my blogs.
